Job Description

The Regional Sales and Distribution Manager is responsible for executing regional sales plans and managing distribution partners for RF and mm-Wave semiconductor products serving Telecom, Satellite Communications, and Aerospace & Defense markets. This role emphasizes hands-on customer engagement, design-win execution, and distributor performance management, requiring strong technical knowledge and disciplined sales execution in long-cycle, engineering-driven markets.

Responsibilities 

    Sales Execution & Regional Ownership

    • Execute regional sales plans to achieve bookings, revenue, and design-win targets for all Axiro products.
    • Manage a defined portfolio of OEM, Tier-1/Tier-2, and strategic accounts across Telecom, Satcom, and Aerospace & Defense segments
    • Develop and maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline aligned with long design and production timelines
    • Support pricing execution, quoting, and contract compliance in coordination with internal stakeholders

    Distribution & Channel Management

    • Manage day-to-day performance of assigned distributors and manufacturer’s representatives
    • Ensure distributors provide effective demand creation, technical support, and opportunity visibility
    • Drive distributor alignment with regional account strategies and coverage models
    • Monitor inventory, backlog, and forecast accuracy to support customer demand and production ramps

    Technical Customer Engagement

    • Engage directly with customer system and hardware engineers to support product selection and design-in activities
    • Present and position Axiro products at the subsystem and application level, including phased arrays, beamforming, and high-frequency front ends
    • Coordinate application engineering and product marketing resources to address customer technical requirements
    • Support evaluation, prototyping, qualification, and transition to production

    Market & Account Development

    • Identify new design-win opportunities within existing and emerging programs, including 5G/6G infrastructure, SATCOM terminals, radar, and secure communications
    • Track competitive solutions and customer roadmaps to inform account strategies
    • Provide structured market and customer feedback to product management and marketing teams

    Forecasting, Reporting & Process Discipline

    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity tracking, and distributor reports
    • Track key performance indicators such as bookings, design wins, pipeline health, and distributor productivity
    • Prepare regular regional updates and participate in sales and business reviews.

    Compliance & Business Governance

    • Ensure adherence to company policies, export control regulations (ITAR/EAR), and customer security requirements
    • Support contract execution, pricing approvals, and credit processes
    • Maintain ethical business practices and accurate CRM data

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline required
    • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor sales or applications-driven business development, with RF, microwave, or mm-Wave exposure
    • Experience supporting Telecom, Satcom, or Aerospace & Defense customers strongly preferred
    • Hands-on experience working with distributors and OEMs/ODMs
    • Understanding of RF system components such as LNAs, PAs, mixers, synthesizers, switches, and beamformers
