Job Description

Responsibilities 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Legal or related field.
• Additional certifications in regulatory compliance, environmental management, or product safety are a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in environmental, product, or regulatory compliance, preferably in semiconductor, manufacturing, electronics, or similar industries.
• Experience with international standards and certifications (e.g., RoHS, REACH, ISO 14001 etc.) is highly desirable.
• Semiconductor / chip background experience desirable
• Strong understanding of domestic and international regulatory frameworks affecting products and environment.
• Familiarity with environmental management systems and product compliance processes.
• Knowledge of auditing, documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in compliance management tools, documentation systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stay updated on changing regulations and industry trends.
• Experience working in SAP and global trade management tools preferable.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make timely decisions.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.

Requirements

1. Regulatory Compliance Management

Monitor, interpret, and implement applicable environmental, product, and regulatory laws and standards across regions.

Ensure all company operations, products, and processes meet local and international regulatory requirements.

2. Product Compliance & Certification

Manage product certification processes (RoHS, REACH, ISO 14001, etc.) as required for global markets.

Maintain documentation for compliance audits and inspections.

3. Environmental Compliance & Sustainability

Support environmental initiatives, sustainability goals, and compliance with regulations.

Track environmental performance and report compliance metrics to Management.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliance is embedded in product design, production, and distribution.

Provide guidance on regulatory impacts for new products or processes.

5. Audits & Risk Management

Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory audits.

Identify compliance risks and implement corrective/preventive actions.

6. Training & Awareness

Conduct compliance training sessions for employees and stakeholders.

Promote awareness of regulatory and environmental standards across the organization.

7. Compliance

Ensuring product and packaging compliance with environmental regulatory material requirements and product material certifications or test data.

Managing product environmental governance data and supporting Axiro's commitment to achieving Net-Zero emissions.

Engaging with suppliers and supporting Axiro's ESG and sustainability requirements.

8. Continuous Improvement

Keep up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Recommend and implement improvements to compliance processes and systems
