Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Product Engineer to lead the qualification and production release of advanced mmWave semiconductor products. In this role, you will own the product lifecycle from post-silicon validation through qualification and into high-volume manufacturing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IC Design, Validation, Test Engineering, Foundry, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and production readiness goals.

This position is ideal for an experienced semiconductor professional with deep expertise in product characterization, JEDEC qualification methodologies, reliability engineering, and new product introduction (NPI).

Responsibilities

    • Manage beamformer products through the Axiro new product introduction (NPI) process from product compliance to production release.
    • Develop and implement qualification plans based on the datasheet and the JEDEC standards.
    • Drive measurements/data collection and statistical analysis for Characterization, Qualification, Correlation, Production Test Limit setting, and other specialized testing for datasheet parameters.
    • Generate post-silicon characterization, bench-to-ATE correlation, and ATE test limit plans for new products based on Axiro guidelines and JEDEC standards.
    • Create and manage product BOMs PLM.
    • Review NPI-related hardware designs.
    • Review ATE test data and perform root cause analysis of any reliability failures using statistical tools, like JMP.
    • Cost reduction via yield improvement and test time reduction.
    • Excursion management (Low yield and RMAs).
    • Validate production test systems.
    • Continually explore opportunities to improve the NPI process.  Focus areas include streamlining test, qualification, and characterization plans and strategies, reducing documentation overhead, and leveraging NPI efficiencies such as Qualification by Similarity (QBS).
    • Hold regular meetings with stakeholders, assigning tasks, and failure debug sessions to ensure timely and high-quality product release.
