Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation for our semiconductor products and solutions. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to develop technical content that supports product development, customer adoption, and internal knowledge sharing. Your work will ensure that complex technical concepts are communicated effectively to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities 

Documentation Development: Create and maintain technical documents, including datasheets, user guides, application notes, and design manuals.
Content Accuracy: Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and clarity of all documentation.
Process & Standards: Establish and follow documentation standards, templates, and best practices for consistency and quality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to gather information and translate it into user-friendly content.
Content Management: Organize and manage documentation in version-controlled systems and ensure timely updates.
Customer Support Materials: Develop FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials to assist customers and internal teams.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and enhance user experience.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics industry.
Technical Expertise: Familiarity with semiconductor concepts, SoC architectures, and hardware/software integration.
Tools: Proficiency in documentation tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and consistency in documentation.
